Velocity Truck Centres, Prince George Announces Hydrogen Bay and Merger of Two Branches

Velocity Truck Centres is pleased to announce the merger of Prince George Western Star and Prince George Freightliner into a single, state-of-the-art facility located at 1015 Great Street, Prince George. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing our operational efficiency and providing a more cohesive and collaborative environment for our employees and clients. The new facility will offer numerous benefits, including enhanced collaboration, improved efficiency and a great client experience.

The newly merged facility will bring together the best features of both buildings, offering an unparalleled experience with 29 service bays, an expansive parts showroom, and improved sales support. This space exemplifies our dedication to growth and excellence. Additionally, the building will soon feature a state-of-the-art Hydrogen/CNG bay, advancing Hydrogen vehicle initiatives in British Columbia. This cutting-edge bay is set to open by the end of Summer 2024.

The Bay, provided by Innovate BC, will support the maintenance of Hydrogen vehicles, building and supporting the Hydrogen corridor between Prince George and Prince Rupert.

The consolidation process began in early May and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2024. During this transition period, we are committed to ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for our employees, clients, and partners.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all our employees, clients, and partners for their continued support as we embark on this exciting new chapter.
